Rhea Orion, PhD, CSC is a relationship and sex counselor certified by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists and has a Doctorate in psychology from Saybrook University in California.
She is a home economist with a degree in child and family studies from the University of New Hampshire in Durham and a Master's degree in counseling psychology from Cambridge College in Massachusetts. She has additional certifications from the Arthritis Foundation and the American Sports Medicine Association to counsel persons with disabilities or chronic illness. She has two decades of experience as a counselor and educator for teens, families, couples, and adults in public and private, traditional and alternative, educational and clinical settings.
Her private practice is adjunct to a non-profit organization, Community Connexions.org, (a project of New Earth Center for Learning, Inc., 501(c)3 #04-3302061) for which she serves on the board and provides low cost or pro-bono services. She is in process of adding a marriage and family therapy license to her credentials and is a registered marriage and family therapist intern (#67128) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and works under the supervision of Steven Braveman, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified Diplomate in sex therapy, in Monterey, CA.
